21 Surefire Reasons That Will Guarantee You’ll Fail in Network Marketing

1. You can’t pick up the phone and make that call.  You have approach anxiety or call reluctance.

2. What you know about sales you could write on the side of a matchbox.

3. You really don’t believe you have a legitimate business.

4. You think you have a positive mindset.

5.  You just ‘don’t get it’ that personal development is the key, but it doesn’t matter, because you are too scared to go there anyway.

6. You have not seriously committed to network marketing.  You are ‘giving it a go.’

7. You have set a very low income benchmark for yourself, and you don’t even know it.

8. You still take rejections personally.

9.  You are not in control of your emotions and let them swamp you when things are not working well.

10. You do not have any type of systematic approach to prospecting.  It all depends on how you feel on any given day.

11.  You are not proactive enough in your business.

12. You have Product Incongruency, which means you either think your product is too expensive or generally have doubts about it in some way.

13. You haven’t identified what you really think about salespeople.  What you really think might shock you and will be reflected in your sales or lack thereof.

14.  Deep down you are ashamed of being a network marketer because you know everyone else crosses the street when they see a network marketer coming.

15. You don’t believe you’ll ever make it in network marketing because you are not like ‘them,’ even though you are not sure what that means.

16. You secretly hoped for a ‘get rich quick scheme.’

17.  What you know about business you could write on the side of a matchbox.

18. You waste time with tyre kickers because you are desperate.

19. You started out like an evangelist, which turned everyone off and then you fell into a slump, although you’ll still say, ‘ I know it’s a really good product.’

20. You have no idea how to get your MLM mojo back.

21. You have no idea why some people make it really big in network marketing or how they do it.

All of the above reasons, any one of which will guarantee failure in network marketing roughly fall into one of two categories, mindset and business skills.  Unfortunately, the low entry level for network marketing ensures that the majority of particiapnts come into this business totally unprepared.  if you don’t make your MLM business into a business, it will fail.
